I was laying in my bed with my best friend Laura we were just talking to people over text. I hear my mom on the phone she was sort of yelling so I went to go see why. I had just given her the phone about three minutes before I was sitting on my bed. It was my dad just as I thought, she was yelling at him saying that well I guess they are gonna have to arrest him this time. I didn't get the whole story but I was very angry with him. He messed up everything this time and he skrewed us over again. Laura was behind me seeing that I was pissed off.
She didn't know what to do so she just whispered in my ear.
"Ariel what's going on, and why is your mom yelling at your dad?"
"I don't know she said something about him getting arrested."
"Oh my god what did he do."
"Like I care my dad skrews shit up like this all the time."
"Wait I'm gonna keep listening."
"Fine you do that I don't care anymore what my dad does."
"Um Ariel he left the scene of a crime he committed."
"Wait what?"
"Yeah I am only getting one side but from what I hear he just left."
"I hate him so much."
"Didn't you say you loved him to death."
"I do love him but I also hate him." We got silent and listened more it seems my stupid father hit a car while pulling out of a parking lot the guy got out yelled and hit my dads car with his fist, so my dad left and went to Smoking Bones. He began drinking tried to get ahold of an officer out friend Jason was friends with but the officer got to him before then and arrested him. So Jason explained and now my dad has to go to work. I talked with him and my mom for awhile trying to get the whole story and then some how it slipped out that my mom was about to leave my dad. I was crushed, and I think she still might leave him even if me and my dad are okay I guess. I'm done with it and that insident should never had happened.
